1. Product

Comics Translate is a macOS desktop app for preparing manga or comic pages, reading text with OCR, translating with AI, and rendering translated text back onto the page.

2. Premium one-time license

Premium licenses are sold as one-time purchases. There is no monthly subscription. Premium includes the translation workflow, reader view, repair tools, Vision Fix, license activation, and regular updates.

3. Trial licenses

We may issue time-limited trial keys for testing, review, or support. Trial keys can expire automatically based on the license server time. Trial keys are not the same as a purchased Premium license.

4. Refunds

All sales are final. Comics Translate does not offer refunds after a license key has been issued.

5. License activation

Each license key is intended for one trusted device. Activation may bind the key to a device identifier so the app can unlock translation, repair, Vision Fix, and render actions. We may revoke, reissue, or replace a license when needed for support, abuse prevention, or device changes.

6. Your AI API key

The app uses your own Google Gemini API key. Any Gemini usage limits, charges, model availability, or account rules are controlled by Google. Comics Translate does not include unlimited AI usage.

7. AI translation results

AI and OCR results may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing translated output before relying on it, publishing it, or sharing it.

8. Your content and rights

You are responsible for the manga, comics, images, URLs, and files you use with the app. Only use content when you have the right or permission to do so. Comics Translate does not grant rights to third-party manga or comic content.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product, payment flow, licensing, and support process improve. The latest version will be published on this page.
